Vision Every man is recognisable by its own construction, its own attitude and its own way of moving. We all look different, so why should we all make the same movements. Everyone is not only its own signature, also the way we run, stand up from a chair, throw a ball, or is standing, makes someone identified as a individual person. For example, there are numerous situations where our preference, like throwing a ball, folding of the hands, the crossing of the arms and sitting down in sartorial, is visible. Our motion preference affects all movements that we make. Not only the appearance of someone, but also the own way of moving is unique. preferred motion When stepping on the bike, you are doing it with the left or right leg. When you try is in the opposite way , it will cost you a lot more effort. You're having a preference of moving. Difference between right and left A preference for the left or right means that we move our right body half otherwise than with our left body half. Movements that we make have an impact on the shape of the body. By all the different preferences we will create the shape of the body so the left and right sides are not the same. We all have a own preference of attitude and move with underpins an unequal development of our bones, joints, muscles, etc. This is normal. There is a natural balance between the preferences of moving and the various development between the left and right sides of the body. This balance is for everyone different. The differences between left and right in the body can be used to measure the motion preferences of someone to find out more about them. We can measure the differences in this way to get information about the developed preference of moving.
ImbalanceThe natural balance between the preferences of moving and the shape of the body can be disturbed as a result of all sorts of problems. The body moves will no longer be the most appropriate to the shape of the body. This balance can be disrupted in many ways: by an accident (caraccident, , fall of the stairs), through a change in posture, unusual work, restrictive clothing, psychological factors, etc. In daily life, other examples: When someone has pain in his neck, he will try to make other movements to avoid the neck pain. To most things you will be able to continue to do so. But other joints can also be used in a different way. If the body has sufficient ability to adapt to the new situation there will be no complaints. When this person would go running (which a lot of movement of the neck) the imbalance might give complaints. There may be complaints occur in the neck, but also in other places, such as, for example, a tendinitis in the shoulder, or a muscle tear in the upper legg (because the knee is forced to move in a different way). The place where the complaint is (in the shoulder or in the upper legg) says nothing about the cause of the complaints. Dealing with only the shoulder or the upper legg will not always remove the complaints. The total balance of the body has to be restored to solve the complaints. Interview In a first call the manual therapist informs to your complaints. Measurements/research The manual therapist then carried out a number of measurements and looks at how you are moving. A few examples of the measurements in what you prefer most; kicks a ball with your left or right leg and how you dig a hole. Treatment On the basis of all the data it is clear how the manual therapist can move your joints in order to maximise the impact of reach. The techniques that the manual therapist uses are very soft and, in general, without pain. The treatment lasts for about half an hour, and repeated after two or three weeks. The period between two treatments is necessary in order for the body to allow time to recover. After three or four treatments the effectiveness will be measured to make sure you have made enough improvement. If no change has occurred, the treatment will be stopped. Rarely more than nine treatments are necessary.
